Wanjiru Mukoma, PhD, has worked in public health programs in Eastern and Southern Africa for over 20 years. She has designed and led implementation of innovative HIV programs, research, advocacy, policy analysis and capacity development. Wanjiru has a special interest on research and programs for adolescent girls and young women and other vulnerable populations, organizational leadership and capacity development. Formerly she was executive Director of LVCT Health, a leading Kenyan nonprofit that implements large scale HIV prevention programs. She was a Yale World Fellow 2019 and holds a PhD in Psychiatry and Mental Health from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
